Will a battery charger (one that charges power tools) have an effect on plant growth?

This summer I plugged in a two unit charger near a rubber plant. The plant has grown from a single stem to a 3 ft tall 3 branch plant. The plant has been in that spot for 3 yrs. Did the electricity emitted from the charge effect the growth?

I wouldn’t say one way or another. design an experiment and try to get a similar result( don’t forget to have a control plant.
