How much is my PC worth?
I’m looking to sell my PC along with a few other tech gadgets, in order to raise some money for a new iMac. I was wandering if anyone could give me a rough idea of how much my PC is worth now.
My PC Specs:
Dell Dimension E520
Intel Pentium D Processor Dual Core, 2.80Ghz
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (clean install), MS Vista Capable Logo. (capable of running vista if they choose to do so).
250GB Hard Drive Serial ATA II 7200Rpm ULD
CD/RW and DVD/CDRW Combo
19″ Flat panel monitor with VGA input
Sound Card Audio with Dolby Digital 7.1
Dell 2.0 Speakers Included
Laser mouse, QWERTY keyboard. (both USB)
Software Include:
Microsoft Works 8 and 9
Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise
Adobe Photoshop CS3
Adobe Photoshop CS4
Adobe After Effects CS4
Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
LimeWire Pro
Camtasia Studio 6
Lol, I forgot to mention the RAM
Memory Dual Channel 1024MB (2×512) 533MHz DDR2
Worth these days hard to equate, because its a throw away society. They don’t make goods to last indefinitely. You’ll be lucky to get a third of what you paid.
Your PC would make a good start for a learner, who couldn’t afford a new one.
You need to print out all the specifics like you have done here, and put them on paper half of A5 size, and put one in each of the big supermarkets who have advertising space. My understanding is free for 2weeks, then took out. Or it use to be. Newspaper shops have this facility as well. If in work, ask around the co-workers, there might be someone who’ll be interested.
All the best, and may you get your imac soon.
